Vote for Fondy!

It's time, Fondy Universe!  Help us win a starter fruit orchard of 20 trees and shrubs.  Visit www.CommunitiesTakeRoot.com and vote for Fondy Farm Project today!

100 organizations across the country are vying for a starter fruit orchard from the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation. Only 17 will win.  Winners will be determined by the number of on-line votes they receive from their supporters during the voting period April 16 through August 30. The good news is that you can vote once per day, every day, beginning today through August 30. That's 137 votes!  And if we multiply that by everyone we know or ever knew, we can win an orchard!

If we win, Fondy Farm Project farmers will win 20 fruit trees and shrubs, training in organic fruit production methods, and volunteer support in planting the orchard.  As the orchard matures, the farmers will sell locally and organically grown fruit - a commodity in short supply on Milwaukee's North Side - at the Fondy Farmers Market.

Can we count on your vote (today and everyday until Aug 30)?   Here's how you can help:
  • Vote every day, starting NOW!
  • Forward this email to everyone you know, encouraging them to vote every day.
  • Share, post, and retweet our Facebook and Twitter announcements, encouraging your friends to vote too!
  • Set your browser to www.communitiestakeroot.com so that every morning you remember to vote.
